You've watched it during the Olympics, now come on out and try it for yourself! During this two-hour session, their experienced instructors will teach you the basics of how to deliver the stone, sweeping, rules and etiquette, as well as give you an opportunity to play a short game. Your session will end with traditional 'broomstacking', or post-game socializing where you can find out more about our club and the programs they offer. Registration will open up 6 weeks prior to the session, or once the previous sessions have sold out.

SNG Band Dinner Show

Repair Cafe´

The Rotary Club of Westborough is excited to announce its latest Repair Cafe event. This event, co-hosted with the Westborough Public Library, provides an opportunity to repair an item (lamp, jewelry, bike, etc) thus, potentially reducing unnecessary landfill waste. The Cafe, hosted at the Library, creates an opportunity for neighbors to connect with each other in a new way, to save some money, to improve the community's sustainability and realize the richness of practical resources and knowledge close to home.  If you or someone you know has "fix-it" skills who would like to help be a repairer The Rotary Club of Westborough would love to hear from you! If you have general repair experience with lamps, vacuums, toys, small furniture, etc; are good with computer troubleshooting, tablet/phone issues, can sew; know how to repair bikes, or whatever, please contact them at [email protected]. The community could benefit from your knowledge and you will feel great about helping others!

New England Recovery Center and Shatterproof Family Program

Addiction affects the entire family, not just the individual struggling. That’s why New England Recovery Center is offering the Shatterproof Family Program.  On September 28th & 29th attendees can join experts at the Faris Recovery Center in Westborough to better equip their family with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to help navigate treatment and ongoing recovery.  The event consists of two days of understanding and comfort designed for family members, friends, and professionals affected by addiction. They will address finding quality treatment, building a plan of action before a crisis hits, dealing with stigma and shame, defining recovery for a loved one or oneself, and understanding addiction as a disease.  To register, contact Norah Lasorsa at [email protected] or 978-505-8900. $20 to participate with scholarships available and refreshments will be provided.
