Third Annual Warehouse Yard Sale

Mark’s Moving & Storage and the Mark’s Northeastern Furniture Foundation are hosting their third annual Warehouse Yard Sale on July 27. All proceeds will benefit Household Goods of Acton.  Furniture sold during the event is provided by the foundation. Mark’s Moving & Storage will host the event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its corporate headquarters, 111 Milk Street in Westborough..

This is HUGE! Villari’s of Westborough is hosting their first-ever in-house tournament this Summer! This is a great opportunity to set a goal, hone your skills, and really see what you’re made of! Friendly competition is an excellent motivator, and can push us to become the very best version of ourselves!  There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, and bravery medals for all child competitors because competition takes guts!  All participants will compete against people of similar age and rank.

Cruise to Cars of Longmeadow

This Cars of Longmeadow car show is an event to raise money for the Lupus Research Alliance. The family hosting the event has been directly affected and is trying to help find a cure.  Spectating and attending are free but the event does cost money to show. Tryouts 2020 14/16U Summer Tournament Team

For the summer of 2020 Westborough Softball is organizing a 14/16U tournament team. The league is going to hold tryouts July 25, 6:00-7: 30 pm (pitchers and catchers 7:30-8) and July 28, 5:00-6: 30 pm (pitchers and catchers 6:30-7:00).  In order to be considered for a team, your daughter must attend one of these days. Girls may attend both tryouts. If you cannot make the tryout dates, private tryouts will be available upon request.  Pitchers and catchers should plan to attend the regular 1.5-hour tryout as well.

Cost structure will be designed to keep costs at a minimum. Exact costs will be discussed at tryouts. They plan on 4 tournaments all in the summer months. Practices will be once a week starting in January and then twice weekly once summer vacation starts. They also have a commitment from an ex-pro baseball player to develop and improve skills during practice. In addition, the Westborough High School softball coaches are eager to be involved as well.

As a condition of participating in this tournament team through the Westborough Little League and Softball program which greatly reduces the cost of this team, players do have to participate in the fall and/or spring recreational softball seasons.
