Wayne & Sevi had bought a colonial in Spencer 9 years ago and poured their hearts into it. The couple was able to renovate and design their home into everything they loved inside and out. However, it was still lacking a few things they desired.
Their home was isolated from shopping, major routes and far from school. Their older daughters go to a school in Worcester, which made their daily drive from home to school a challenge; 35 minutes each way. They also needed additional space when they received the news of their next pregnancy with twins. Taking into consideration where the twins would attend school, they started to consider whether they should look for a larger home in a more family-oriented neighborhood or add on to the one they already invested so much in.
Wayne & Sevi had some reservations about moving in the beginning. Should they stay, add on, put a pool in? They were concerned about how their older girls would feel about the move and worried about recouping all that they had put into their home, in the form of time and money. If their family stayed, they were still missing a lot from their dream home. They soon decided to look at homes and see what was out there.
The couple spoke with two other realtors before randomly meeting Brenda at an open house. They both knew she was the right fit upon meeting. Brenda made them feel like she understood what they were going through and felt confident that they could trust her to sell and find them the right home to purchase.
Brenda communicated with the couple constantly and made them feel like they were a priority, regardless of the time of day. The hardest part of selling for their family was dealing with the solar panels. The solar company wasn't the easiest to work with and went out of business. Making sure the girls were on board with the move was also a small hurdle.
They remembered the most uncomplicated part was working with Brenda and her team. It was straight-forward and they could always count on Brenda and their attorney Melissa whenever they had any questions.
Now that their family is settling into their new home, their older girls are happy and actually closer to more of their friends. Their drive to school is 10 minutes instead of 35 minutes and they have plenty of space, including 5 1/2 bathrooms! They are considering installing a pool this summer. Last but certainly not least, they are centrally located to everything within minutes.
